What should the code hold?

There’s no sign-up. Your content is sent to QRBox to generate the image. The application does not store the entered content or generated image.

Use the complete address, including https://.

Up to 10 successful creations per source network in a rolling 24 hours. People sharing a network share this allowance.

The generator needs JavaScript. If the button stays unavailable, enable JavaScript and reload, or contact us for help. Do not send sensitive QR content by email.

Use a public HTTPS website address. QRBox checks the address format, not whether the destination is safe.

    Direct

    Your chosen destination or action is encoded without a QRBox redirect. A website you choose may have its own redirects or tracking.

    Your downloaded code does not depend on QRBox to keep working. The website or service it points to can still change or become unavailable.

    Private by default

    The application does not store the content you submit or the image it generates. Separate quota processing is explained in Privacy.

    Kept useful

    A small free allowance helps keep the tool available without turning it into an abuse channel.

QRBox is exploring a separate service for reviewed destination changes. It is not available in the free generator and requires its own safety and release checks.
