Accessibility and help
Useful for
more people.
We are working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We have not completed an independent conformance assessment and do not claim full compliance.
Using the generator
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls. Select a code type with the arrow keys. Labels and guidance describe the value to enter. After creating a code, the download dialog shows your submitted value as text as well as the QR image. Escape closes the dialog.
QR generation and image downloads need JavaScript. If the generator does not load, its button remains unavailable and a help message is shown. You can still read the guides and explore Mystery discoveries without JavaScript.
Mystery QR without scanning
Choose an edition, then open a numbered mystery with a click, Enter or Space. Its description and ordinary website link are available without scanning a QR code. Discovery links open external sites in new tabs.
The current silent slides have a text alternative on each edition page. The site respects reduced-motion preferences. Videos have playback controls and do not start automatically.
Known limits and ongoing checks
Screen-reader combinations, high magnification and real-world use by disabled people still need further testing. External discovery sites are outside our control and may have their own accessibility barriers. Future videos with speech will need captions and equivalent descriptions before publication.
